Pizza – a dish of Italian cuisine, now widespread all over the world. It is a flat cake made of yeast dough (focaccia), with tomato sauce, sprinkled with grated cheese (usually mozzarella) and herbs, baked in a very hot oven. Pizza is served hot, but it is also common to eat it cold.
